Letter from Mark and Bonnie Vasu, CEO of Blue Martini

‘When Mark and I adopted our 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cosmo and Boogie we knew there was something extra special about them. A few months later a neighbor and a volunteer for “Paws For Friendship” suggested we attend a yappy hour with other volunteers and their personal pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, pony etc. The boys became certified therapy pets and we started visiting nursing homes and children’s hospitals. It was so rewarding to see how happy Cosmo and Boogie made the children and the elderly. When it is time to leave and they thank you for coming to visit them and making their day complete, it is the best feeling ever! Cosmo and Boogie are now going to an elementary school and the children are reading to them. They are reading better because of our visits. Our “boys” have so much love to give, we want to share it with those in need.

“Paws For Friendship, Inc.” is a non-profit organization that participates in various events throughout the year. All funds received go toward operating costs such as liability insurance, office supplies, membership materials, ID cards and therapy vests. There are no paid employees.

Mark and I feel so blessed to be a part of this wonderful organization. We want to thank you in advance for participating in the “Blue Martini Golf Tournament”. Your support reaches out all over communities.’
