Wow.
Now that “Unforgettable Prom” has come and gone, I can safely say that April 30, 2010 was a very special night for some very special teens in South Florida. The prom was an opportunity for kids with cancer to forget about their illness and I’d say we were more than successful in making that happen. The kids came from all over South Florida to the elegant Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale via glamorous stretch limousines. They came in-style donning the tuxedos, beautiful prom gowns, new shoes, and hair/nails/makeup that were all provided for them. The kids walked the red carpet, mixed and mingled with celebrities, and danced the night away.
On behalf of the Friends of Scott Foundation, many thanks to Blue Martini for being a major sponsor of South Florida’s first annual “Unforgettable Prom”. You went over and above in helping make this a magical night for these kids and I will tell you that not one person was without a smile. It was a night that NO ONE will EVER forget.
